The 100 Day Project 2022
This is my fourth time participating in #The100DayProject. If you're not familiar, it's a fun online challenge that encourages you to do something creative every day for 100 days. The goal is to do all within the 100-day time period, but many people stretch it out, skipping days and sometimes doubling up, etc. I nearly made it—the project ended on May 23, I finished on May 25. There's a Facebook group where you can learn more and participate next year.
For this year, I decided not to do an official theme and just go with the flow—it was an interesting ride. I started out with mixed media and decoupage and followed that up with painting, drawing, digital illustration, and surface pattern design.
I was influenced by mementos, nature, the war in Ukraine, women's rights, and gun violence in America.
Below are all 100 pieces of my art (click to view larger). My pattern designs can be found on products at Society6.
