The 100 Day Project 2019

I learned about The 100 Day Project challenge through Instagram and was intrigued. It's a global art project where you do something creative every day. It can be singing, dancing, writing, drawing, painting, knitting, etc. It's suggested that you come up with a theme/plan in advance. For instance, some people crochet one square every day to make an afghan and others play the guitar every day to teach themselves how to play.My idea was to take a walk every day and draw something I saw during my walk. My hashtag is #AmysArtWalk. I started out strong, but with New England weather, and my occasional lack of motivation, I didn't strictly stick with my plan. In addition to the photos I took on my walks, I used past reference photos as inspiration.There were nights that I didn't get home until late and stayed up drawing until midnight to get that day's work in. I skipped some days, doubling my work to catch up—life's a balance like that.I discovered new artists, tried watercolor for the first time, and pushed myself creatively. Overall, it was a fantastic learning experience.Below are all of my #The100DayProject drawings.
