The 100 Day Project 2026
I wasn't sure I would be able to handle participating in #The100DayProject this time around, it can be difficult to commit to a challenge like this. If you're not familiar with the project, the goal is to do something creative every day for 100 days. It can be quilting, sewing, drawing, dancing, singing—just as long as it’s creative. This year, it started on February 26 and ended on June 1. Participants share their progress on Instagram, Threads, LinkedIn, and in the official group on Facebook. I ultimately decided it would be good for me to take a short break every day and do something small and easy. I ended up using Posca acrylic markers on paper for the majority of the time. During the process, I also discovered a non-profit that accepts art donations for children's hospitals, so I tried to keep the pieces simple and fun with the intention of donating at a later date. Some darker thoughts did come through my art, as it's been a heavy political climate as of late. I truly believe that art is therapy and making colorful art can lift one’s spirit. No matter what your artistic capabilities are, you should consider partaking in the next challenge! Consider subscribing to the email list. Hope you enjoy my completed challenge pieces below!
